Baptist is looking to add a Certified Medical Assistant II to our AgeWell team. The AgeWell Department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support their team. AgeWell services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist!

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing phlebotomy procedures
  • Providing nursing assistance to physician
  • Obtaining vital signs
  • Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical visit
  • Telephone triage and patient education
  • Maintaining medical documentation
  • Scheduling care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician
  • Processing CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals
  • Cross training in front office, referrals area, and other areas

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
  • Experience in Physician's office
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
