Assists the physician with procedures and examinations as needed
Assists the physician in the provision of patient and family education
Answers general questions
Performs clerical duties as necessary Files reports in patient records
Provides nursing care for the patient as directed by the physician

Completes accurate coding of medical and laboratory procedures

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant diploma/certificate from a nationally recognized, accredited program OR Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing OR Completion of a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
Nationally recognized and accredited current Medical Assistant certification
BCLS certification
Nice to have:
Front and/or back-office experience in a medical office or nursing assistant in a hospital or patient care facility
