Certified Hand Therapist

• Reporting to the Cheift OT
• Assessment, planning, treatment, and ongoing evaluation of the provision of care for a diverse hand/UE patient population
• Provides patients and family education and support
• The scope of hand therapy services for patients and families includes all phases of care including prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, and education/caregiver training
• Works effectively on a multidisciplinary team

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program required
• 5 years as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Massachusetts required
• Certified Hand Therapist by Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC)
• BLS healthcare provider required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Computer skills required
• Ability to maintain confidential information

Preferred Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
