Job Responsibility:

  • Direct all activities of the Culinary Service Department and dining room
  • Responsible for the quality of meals served
  • Responsible for quality of service delivery during meal service
  • Control of Dietary Department expenses
  • Compliance with special diets offered by the community
  • Scheduling and management of the Dietary staff
  • Creating and cooking meals that are healthy and delicious for seniors

Requirements:

  • Dietary Manager Certification (preferred but may work with the right person to obtain)
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Three years of experience in food service preparation and managing staff
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public, cheerfully and with enthusiasm
  • Must meet employment requirements, including TB, criminal background check, and drug screen
