Job Responsibility

  • Manage certification and product approval projects from enquiry through to completion
  • Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong and trusted relationships
  • Review technical documentation and support the assessment of products against relevant certification requirements
  • Prepare project quotations, schedules and approval documentation
  • Coordinate testing activities with internal laboratories and technical teams
  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders
  • Review test reports and ensure certification files are accurate and complete
  • Support customers in understanding and achieving compliance requirements
  • Work collaboratively with approval bodies, accreditation organisations and internal colleagues to resolve issues and keep projects on track

Requirements

  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong customer-facing experience and the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills
  • Confidence reviewing detailed technical or compliance-related documentation
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem solving
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Experience within certification, testing, compliance, quality assurance, engineering or a similar technical environment would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of product certification schemes, fire safety products or regulated industries would be beneficial but is not essential
