To ensure that BSS achieves its goal of providing a first-class summer school. Oversee and manage all aspects of the centre you have been placed at, Including, Welfare, Safeguarding, Academic, Leisure Host School, Parent and Agent Liaison.

Requirements:

  • Take a leading role in putting BSS’s safeguarding and child protection policies into practice
  • Supervise the Centre Administrator
  • Provide effective and professional oversight of the Welfare Manager
  • Provide strong, supportive, and professional leadership to the Director of Studies
  • Lead and support the Activities Manager
  • Oversee and guide staff in a professional, supportive, and constructive manner
  • Personally liaise with parents and agents regarding any notable incidents
  • Responsible for overseeing all cash at the centre
  • Confirm that detailed risk assessments are in place
  • To make certain that all staff and students are aware of fire exit routes
  • Work with the Welfare team to share essential information
  • in the absence of the Welfare Manager, Dispense prescribed and over the counter medication
  • Observe and manage student conduct
  • To ensure all relevant host school departments receive the information required
  • To ensure that every aspect of the Teaching and Learning criteria established by the British Council is consistently met
  • Respond to any emergencies that may occur during non-working hours
  • Manage and coordinate all student arrivals and departures
  • Delegate a member of staff to be responsible for capturing high-quality footage
  • To help ensure that the centre is set up effectively and packed away
