Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our beautiful, purpose-built early learning centre conveniently located in Tallawong. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, leadership of the centre, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and staff.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Foster a love for learning and creativity among children through engaging activities
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement
  • Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre's values
  • Manage the budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Priorities the health and safety of all children in service
  • Assisting with daily campus operations and room tasks such as: activity preparation and mealtimes
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to other educators within the service
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
  • Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards as well as compliance with relevant Government Regulations

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum three years experience in a Centre Director role within a Early Childcare setting
  • Current paid working with children check, current First aid & CPR
  • National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing quality care
