Job Description:

As a Centre Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our centre. Your primary focus will be on customer service, event support, cleanliness, safety, and general operations. This position is key to creating a welcoming and efficient environment for all our visitors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and Assist: Welcome customers, provide information, and handle enquiries with a friendly demeanour
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all areas of the centre are clean and hygienic at all times
  • Equipment Monitoring: Inspect and monitor equipment, reporting any damage or safety concerns promptly
  • Support Activities: Assist in delivering activities and events, with training provided
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform basic admin duties such as answering phones and checking in clients
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Security Duties: Assist with locking and unlocking the building as needed
  • Promote Events: Engage with customers to promote centre events and services through social media and personal interactions
