Job Description:

Central Support Chef role covering Huddersfield & Leeds area, working Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (Term time, inset days and 3 additional weeks). Part of one of the fastest growing education catering companies, recently awarded Education Caterer of the year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with training and development of onsite chefs
  • Cover sickness across sites
  • Be part of mobilisation team
  • Support operations manager across portfolio of sites

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to own vehicle
  • Chef management experience (ideally from secondary education)
  • Passion for food and service
  • Craft skills to support in the kitchen when needed
  • Self-motivated
  • Resilient
  • Highly organised
  • Understanding of how to prioritise effectively
