Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Central Material Planner – Service Operations to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our Service Centre can meet forecasted demand over a 2–6-month horizon. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing supply chain activities to deliver expected volumes within agreed lead times, while maintaining cost efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and manage forecasts for major components in collaboration with Business Units, Internal Customers, and Service Agreement Managers
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to parts availability and supply gaps
  • Reduce takt time on the manufacturing process by proper planning the material
  • Coordinate with order handling teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date information in the ERP system to support planning and execution
  • Lead improvement initiatives focused on optimizing supply chain performance, including controlling slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory
  • Analyze the cost implications of proposed measures and ensure cost-effective delivery
  • Oversee and manage exchange components to ensure availability and turnaround efficiency within service operations
