Job Description:

Central Government accounts are Quadient’s top target Public Sector customers and are served by the Quadient Government and Facilities Management division by a team of Strategic Account Managers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing sales team and further your career. This is a national, hybrid role, so you can be based anywhere within the UK. There will be national travel involved, with a minimum of 3 days per week on the road with the others days working from home.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure a focused approach to relationship development, stakeholder mapping, and long-term growth within key Central Government named departments and agencies
  • Focus on protecting existing revenue channels and developing new revenue streams by introducing new products and services across the full Quadient portfolio
  • Partner with the Facilities Management team to translate strategic imperatives into actionable go-to-market plans, driving activity into Government accounts
  • Work closely with the Bid Management Team to pursue tender opportunities effectively, ensuring alignment with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) frameworks and public procurement requirements
  • Balance short-term sales delivery with long-term value creation by growing market share in the mail division’s core offerings while driving expansion into digital and automation solutions
  • Build internal partnerships with Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Professional Services to deliver integrated, customer-centric solutions
  • Build and maintain contacts and strong business relationships, whilst developing a multi-level contact plan for each designated Central Government Department

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful sales experience in a B2B environment, ideally having sold to Central Government or Public Sector departments
  • Strong track record in strategic account planning, multi-solution sales, and structured business development
  • Graduate level (or demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and relay information accurately to customers)
  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A passionate, driven, ambitious, energetic individual
  • An inclusive team player that encourages the support and interaction of all departments both internally and externally
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes, frameworks, and CCS/G-Cloud framework compliance.

  • Excellent forward planning and a comprehensive understanding of simple and complex multilevel sales cycles within Capital Equipment and Solutions Environments
