Job Description:

The Central Fulfilment Goods Flow Manager leads operations related to goods flow in the DC and CDC, embedding safety culture, mentoring leaders, and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Leading and inspiring a large, diverse team to deliver safe, efficient, and accurate goods flow across the DC and CDC operations
Embedding a safety culture into all aspects of the goods flow operation
Developing and mentoring your team leaders, coordinators, and co-workers, actively planning succession to create a strong leadership pipeline
Securing the Goods Flow team’s competence in processes, compliance with IKEA rules, guidelines, SOPs, and relevant laws and regulations within the goods flow operation
Securing staff and equipment planning to ensure operational activities meet goods availability requirements
Engaging with stakeholders across functions to support business growth and service excellence

Requirements:

Proven experience leading large teams within a warehousing, logistics or fulfilment environment
A strong safety-first mindset with a track record of embedding safe practices into culture
An exceptional people leader with the proven ability to coach, inspire, challenge, and develop a high performing team
Experienced in leading from the front, while being able to step in to strategic planning for smooth and well-planned operations
Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the business
A forward thinker who works calmly under pressure, takes ownership of quick decisions and is an effective problem solver
Resilience, adaptability and a strong sense of accountability
