Overview: As a Central Fill Pharmacy Manager, you have a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to leading and directing your Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. CVS Central Fill pharmacies manage, fulfill, and ship prescriptions to retail stores in a closed-door setting. These pharmacies fulfill 10k-40k prescriptions per week utilizing multiple retail systems that are specialized for Central Fill operations. The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Central Fill pharmacy, including oversight of 20+ employees and 15+ non-resident pharmacy licenses. The Pharmacy Manager will be tasked with managing development & performance of their team and setting goals for streamlined operations of their facility. This includes ensuring that hiring goals are met and maintained to budget, resources are in place for fulfillment of budgeted prescriptions, prescription cost to fill is monitored, orders are delivered to stores on time and with efficiency, and compliance with the regulatory requirements of all state licenses is maintained. He/she is expected to think outside the box and partner with the corporate team to meet these goals. In addition, the Central Fill Pharmacy Manager will complete pharmacist workflow tasks such as verification.

Requirements
5+ years' experience directly leading a team to meet, and exceed, business outcomes
5+ years' experience building a high performing team
Demonstrated track record of success in high-volume pharmacy management
Ability to diagnose operational challenges and deliver impactful solutions in real time
Ability to hold teams accountable in a fair, supportive and equitable manner
Ability to effectively create goals and prioritize key action plans
Proactivity with tackling issues in a timely and decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind
Ability to perform under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple customers of the business
Ability to learn and train teams to use complex pharmacy fulfillment systems, including prescription processing software, fulfillment and verification automation machines, patient management tools, shipping systems, etc.
