Job Responsibility

  • Managing the overall operations of the Central Fill pharmacy
  • Oversight of 20+ employees and 15+ non-resident pharmacy licenses
  • Managing development & performance of their team
  • Setting goals for streamlined operations of their facility
  • Ensuring hiring goals are met and maintained to budget
  • Ensuring resources are in place for fulfillment of budgeted prescriptions
  • Monitoring prescription cost to fill
  • Ensuring orders are delivered to stores on time and with efficiency
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements of all state licenses
  • Partnering with the corporate team to meet goals
  • Completing pharmacist workflow tasks such as verification

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience directly leading a team to meet, and exceed, business outcomes
  • 5+ years’ experience building a high performing team
  • Demonstrated track record of success in high-volume pharmacy management
  • Ability to diagnose operational challenges and deliver impactful solutions in real time
  • Ability to hold teams accountable in a fair, supportive and equitable manner
  • Ability to effectively create goals and prioritize key action plans
  • Proactivity with tackling issues in a timely and decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind

  • Prior experience managing high volume pharmacies and/or field management experience
  • Ability to complete verification with accuracy
