Job Description:

The Center Medical Director leads the clinical team at their center in providing the best patient care and a great place to work to keep patients happy, healthy and out of the hospital. The role involves 80% clinical time and 20% administrative time with mission-critical leadership responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Lead clinical team at center
Practice primary care (80% clinical, 20% administrative)
Set example for primary care practice
Serve as mentor, coach, and advisor to providers
Support organizational strategy implementation
Coordinate onboarding of new providers
Ensure evidence-based medical care
Implement clinical guidelines
Support quality preventative care
Conduct performance reviews
Maintain positive organizational culture

Requirements:

M.D., D.O., or A.P.N or P.A. graduates
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required for M.D. or D.O.
Board certification in Family, Adult, or Gerontology for A.P.N.
Experience in clinical leadership roles
Experience using a metrics-driven approach to medical care
5+ years of experience in outpatient practice preferred
US work authorization

Nice to have:

Fellowship training in Geriatrics
Other professional degrees (e.g., M.B.A., J.D., M.P.H.)
Prior executive roles
