Job Description

The Center Director is the primary business owner responsible for delivering on the overall performance of the center, including compliance with licensing, accreditation and certification requirements of all departments supervised. The Center Director leads, coordinates and monitors staff and operations in order to meet the mission of the InnovAge PACE or LIFE programs, and deliver on our five pillars. Physical attendance at an InnovAge facility and/or an InnovAge participant home is essential to performing the job duties.

Job Responsibility

  • Delivering on the overall performance of the center, including compliance with licensing, accreditation and certification requirements of all departments supervised
  • Leading, coordinating and monitoring staff and operations in order to meet the mission of the InnovAge PACE or LIFE programs
  • Achieve 5 pillar objectives and KPI results including People, Service, Quality, Growth, Financial
  • Implementing standardized workflows and continually improving processes
  • Developing and implementing policy and procedures
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Healthcare Center (ADHC), including facility maintenance
  • Ensuring ADHC has adequate equipment and supplies
  • Accountable for a culture of compliance regarding licensing, accreditation and certification requirements
  • Serving as a member of the Management Team and on various committees
  • Designating Clinic Manager or ADHC Manager when absent from center
  • Responsible for total food service and day-to-day supervision of food services staff
  • Supervising and managing direct reports
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Recognizing and rewarding employees
  • Corrective disciplinary procedures and practices
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Ensuring annual employee performance reviews are conducted
  • Regularly scheduling leadership/management, department, and staff 1:1 meetings
  • Working in the matrix with sales, transportation, homecare, and network management teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years health care experience
  • 10+ years management experience
  • 1+ year working with the frail or elderly
  • Current CPR and First Aide certification or the ability to obtain CPR and First Aide certification
