Job Responsibility:
Ensures compliance with data center business, service-level, safety, and security policies
promptly escalates and reports issues
Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, and risk mitigation activities to reduce high-impact and human-error CE incidents
Oversees day-to-day mechanical and electrical operations in leased datacenters, including MOP/SOP/EOP reviews, change governance, audits, and compliance verification
Supports Emergency Preparedness and Response plans and acts as an escalation point for facilities-related issues
Builds and maintains strong relationships with Engineering Groups, landlords, and regional/global peers, contributing to MBRs, QBRs, and best-practice sharing
Holds self-accountable for end-to-end service quality, availability, safety, security, and overall customer experience, supporting timely escalation to appropriate owners
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Technical College certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or services
Experience in large scale Critical Environment infrastructure projects (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU)
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
