Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CDM Site Manager to act as Principal Contractor's lead on NERS HV projects, delivering 11kV/33kV contestable works safely and compliantly through to adoption.

Job Responsibility:

  • Discharge Principal Contractor duties under CDM 2015
  • Manage Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and overall site compliance
  • Lead HV safety controls including permits, switching, isolations, and SAP/AP coordination
  • Oversee delivery of 11kV/33kV cable routes, substations, jointing, civils, testing & commissioning
  • Ensure works meet adoptable DNO standards
  • Manage inspections, testing, quality documentation & adoption packs
  • Act as main site interface with DNOs, clients & stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven NERS HV project delivery experience to adoption
  • Strong knowledge of 11kV / 33kV distribution networks
  • Experience managing permit-controlled HV environments
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS (Manager)
  • First Aid

Nice to have:

  • NEBOSH
  • NRSWA or Temporary Works experience
