Job Description:

A vibrant multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Reading is looking to appoint a confident CDM Principal Designer. This consultancy boasts a well-established Health and Safety team, which will see you work with a blend of both their in-house design teams and external clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise clients on their duties under CDM 2015
  • Mitigate risk during the pre-construction phase of projects
  • Contribute in client and design team meetings
  • Ensure compliance and safe design practices across a range of schemes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a CDM Principal Designer or CDM Consultant role
  • NEBOSH Construction / General / Fire certificate
  • TechIOSH (minimum)
  • APS membership (preferred)
  • Degree in a design-related discipline such as Architecture, Engineering or Surveying (preferred)
