Job Description:

An leading architectural practice is seeking a CDM Consultant to aid with the Design Risk Management on their portfolio of large-scale new-build projects within London. You will act as Principal Designer as you work closely with in-house Architects. Due to the nature of this job role, you will spend almost none of your time visiting sites which will afford you a comfortable working environment.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate health and safety documentation
Guide in-house Architects through pre-construction requirements in line with CDM 2015
Attend design meetings
Carry out site visits when necessary
Support project teams in identifying and managing design risk

Requirements:

3 years’ experience in a CDM Consultant or Principal Designer role
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
APS or IOSH membership
Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying (preferable)
Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and design risk management
Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to have:

Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying
