Job Description:

A long-established Construction Consultancy are expanding their Senior Management team. They are looking to bring a CDM Principal Designer into the business as an Associate Director. You will provide internal training to CDM Principal Designers and in-house designers. The business has grown organically over 30+ years, mostly from repeat business from their clients. You will work in a close-knit team with a varied day to day from their wide scope of CDM and Design led projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Limiting major and all CDM related risk during the design stages
  • Improving the overall competence of CDM Principal Designers and in-house designers
  • Providing internal training to CDM Principal Designers and in-house designers
  • Working on varied projects as the clients point of contact

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years within a CDM Principal Design / Design Risk Management role
  • Chartership with either IOSH (CMIOSH) or APS (CMaPS) will be advantageous

Monitor and manage the progress of the programme - track progress against milestones, deadlines, budget and provide the Site Delivery Leadership team with reports on these matters
