Heavy equipment hauling experience required
Possession and maintenance of a valid Class A CDL and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to pass and maintain DOT/FMCSA requirements for drug screens and DOT physicals

Job Responsibility

Works with foreman, mechanics, and other operations staff to coordinate heavy equipment relocations
Ensures proper and safe loading, unloading, and securing of oversized/overweight equipment
Plans the best route for delivery of heavy equipment
Completes thorough load check inspections before each departure
Identifies and addresses potential delivery and pick-up problems
Use basic equipment operating skills to load and unload
Ensures all necessary permits and logs are up-to-date
Documents machine/equipment damage and reports immediately
Complies with all DOT, State and local traffic and highway laws
Completes and files all vehicle pre/post-trip inspections
