Job Description

M. R. Tanner Construction is seeking a dependable and safety-driven CDL Driver with a Tanker (N) Endorsement to support our construction operations throughout Arizona. This position is responsible for transporting materials to and from construction job sites. The ideal candidate has experience operating tanker trucks in construction or heavy equipment environments and understands Arizona DOT and job-site safety requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely operate tanker trucks to construction sites
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation
  • Follow all Arizona DOT and company safety standards
  • Navigate job sites safely, including uneven terrain and tight spaces
  • Communicate with supervisors, dispatch, and site personnel
  • Report maintenance issues promptly
  • Assist with general site support duties when needed

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A or B license (Arizona)
  • Tanker (N) Endorsement required
  • Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience (construction or tanker experience preferred)
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
  • Knowledge of Arizona roadways and construction site safety practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders and access tank tops
  • Work outdoors in Arizona heat and varying weather conditions
  • Ability to operate on uneven, dusty, or muddy terrain
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and driving
