Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE) with specialization in electrical/electronics
Prior experience in pre-sales, networking design, project management, and implementation is desired
Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications like excel, word, and PowerPoint, knowledge of OS & AutoCAD is desired
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Should have experience in handling customers, understanding product positioning and customer requirements
Should be able to handle stretched deadlines
People who dealt with installations of Internet service, IP networking, CCTV projects, security systems installations
Familiar with home automation technologies & protocols

Job Responsibility

Provide technical support to the sales function from the pre-sales stage to post-sales
Support sales through designing and delivering technology training to the team
Design and develop the techno commercial BOM for S.I’s
Compile, compare and analyze the technical specifications of different products in the segment
Study and provide inputs related to competitor products
Periodic site visits to inspect S.I’s installation & helps them to improve on the quality of installation
Assist R&D for technical queries/development of new products
Understand customer requirements and provide design and solutions accordingly
Coordinate with MARCOM team to develop the product catalog
Testing the upcoming products & sharing feedback on the same before their launch

Requirements

Proven experience in technical support, field engineering within CCTV / ANPR or a similar role
Strong knowledge of site survey processes, moving traffic enforcement legislation, and industry standards
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor field engineers
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to product development

Job Responsibility

Conduct and approve detailed site surveys for delivery projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements
Provide comprehensive technical support to field engineers, addressing and resolving issues to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and sign-off on installation quality
Provide technical support to the Service Desk, Service Delivery Managers & Clients
Assist the Field Engineering Manager with the planning and execution of field operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
Accompany field engineers on site visits to provide hands-on training and mentorship, ensuring skill development and knowledge transfer
Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programmes to improve field engineers’ technical capability and overall performance
Produce and maintain clear, user-focused technical documentation and training resources to enable effective field support
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of business certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance
Partner with system configuration teams and consultants to ensure seamless integration and optimisation of engineering systems
Provide input and feedback on system improvements and enhancements
