Are you passionate about shaping and inspiring the workforce of tomorrow? We’re looking for a creative, dedicated, and enthusiastic Catering Tutor to join our vibrant team! If you’re committed to delivering engaging lessons, making a difference in students' lives, and fostering a love for learning, we want to hear from you. We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP Parc, working as a Catering Tutor within the Youth Estate. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and deliver high quality, learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus Gower policies and procedure

Requirements:

  • Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
  • Have experience of achieving of quality targets
  • Have experience of producing accurate and timely reports
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners
  • Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload, and meet deadlines and targets
  • Commit to positive teamworking
