At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to join our dynamic Catering team on a permanent basis. This role is focused on maximizing revenue across all catering business segments, developing new client relationships, and ensuring long-term client retention, while upholding the hotel’s reputation as a premier luxury destination for events, conferences, and private functions. As a key member of the Catering team, you will actively drive sales performance, manage strategic accounts, and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless, high-quality events. Your contribution will play an essential role in achieving revenue targets and strengthening the hotel’s position in the luxury events market.
Job Responsibility:
Actively solicit and book all types of catering business from a variety of leads and market segments
Maintain a structured and organized follow-up system for all sales activities through DELPHI
Coordinate closely with the Catering team to ensure optimal utilization of function space and maximize revenue potential
Conduct site inspections and property tours for meeting planners and prospective clients
Negotiate contracts to achieve maximum revenue and profitability while meeting client expectations
Prepare, review, and manage Event P&Ls to ensure profitability and long-term client retention
Represent the hotel professionally in all client interactions and at industry events
Finalize bookings and maximize revenue through strategic upselling across all relevant areas
Keep the Director of Catering informed of any issues or opportunities requiring attention
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and flawless event execution
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance, providing insights and updates to the Director of Catering
Support the development and execution of sales initiatives for assigned market segments to increase catering activity, volume, and profit
Contribute to achieving departmental and overall property revenue goals while maintaining the highest service standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in luxury hospitality sales, with a strong focus on catering and events
Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with sales and CRM systems such as DELPHI, OPERA, or similar platforms
Fluency in English
