Chef Daniel Boulud is seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual who is passionate about hospitality to join our Banquet Team at an exciting Venue. Acting as a liaison between the Dinex restaurant teams and the SL Green hospitality team, this position will assist in the selection of menu items, schedules catering staff, arrange for facilities or equipment, and communicates customer/client needs to the appropriate personnel, directly supporting the needs and goals of the Director of Sales and the SL Green hospitality team.
Job Responsibility
Ensuring all event information is up to date and fully detailed prior to event for all involved parties
Review event floorplans, pack lists and rental equipment to ensure success
Communicate standards and expectations to all event staff
Run the setup and execution of events
Maintain calendar of events through Tripleseat and attend all necessary event meetings and conference calls
Managing employees and temp employees holding them accountable for their work and disciplining as needed
