We are looking for a Catering Marketing Manager who will lead the B2B marketing agenda for our foodservice catering division. Initially based in Bradford, this role will be based longer term in Huddersfield. About the role: This is a pivotal role in the marketing department, working cross functionally you will ensure priorities are managed effectively, on time and in line with business expectations and requirements. You will take the lead on driving the effectiveness of promotions, projects, campaigns, trade events and the trade marketing plan by customer type. This is an exciting and dynamic role and will require a mix of experience, strategic skills, clever thinking, hands on and strong people management skills. A true understanding of our customers will be essential.
Job Responsibility
Create a strategic plan by customer
Development of the Trade Marketing activations plan
Monitor the performance of catering E-Commerce on platforms, including the website and App
Support Trade Day events and Supplier Events
Use insights to develop and shape our trade marketing plan
POSM development and production
Content development
Requirements
Recent experience of a similar role working in a foodservice wholesale environment
Demonstratable understanding of B2B marketing principles and tools
Stakeholder Management: can work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders across sales, trading, operations and the marketing team
Sales Support – firm understanding and knowledge of collateral and content to help the sales team convert prospects
Experience of developing the customer journey
Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager from a B2B Food and Beverage business
Experience of creating a marketing plan that drives footfall, sales, builds awareness and drives leads
Excellent written and presentation skills
Experience of content development
Excellent communication skills ideally with experience of PR
Broad experience across online and offline marketing channels
Experience of working with sales, trading, and operations teams
Experienced in partnership marketing / media partnerships
Budget management experience
Self-starter, who is driven by results
