We are now looking for an experienced Catering Events Manager to join our team and lead the operational delivery of exceptional events across London. The role: This is a senior, client-facing operational role responsible for overseeing the seamless delivery of high-end events from planning through to execution. Working closely with the Sales and Events teams, you will ensure every event is delivered to the exceptional standards Rocket Food is known for. You’ll take ownership of event operations across multiple venues, managing teams, suppliers, logistics, and client expectations while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach in fast-paced environments.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the operational planning and delivery of a wide range of luxury events
Manage both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations to the highest standards
Produce and communicate detailed event plans across departments
Brief, lead, and motivate teams of varying sizes on-site
Oversee service flow for high-volume dinners and events, including 500+ guest functions
Attend client meetings, tastings, and venue site visits alongside the Sales team
Coordinate equipment orders and supplier logistics
Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including RAMS documentation
Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, clients, and suppliers
Support recruitment, training, and development within the operations team
Contribute to operational improvements and efficiencies across the business
Requirements:
Proven experience in event operations within luxury catering, hospitality, or premium events
