Job Description:

We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Wymott, working as a Catering Cover Teacher on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
  • Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or commit to work towards within a specified timeframe (Applies to Teachers in YOI only)
  • Achievement of quality and performance targets
  • Accurate and timely completion of documents
  • Positive team working
  • Effective communication & inter-personal skills
