Under the direction of the Catering Manager, the Catering Coordinator is responsible for accurately servicing all catering food/beverage orders. Building Banquet Event Orders, speaking with the client on a regular basis, gathering information for any Catering function.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately servicing all catering food/beverage orders
Building Banquet Event Orders
Speaking with the client on a regular basis
Gathering information for any Catering function
Fulfill opening and closing duties as dictated by management
Organize and accurately place orders into the Catering system for all events
Effectively communicate with Catering Manager and Red Carpet Event Team to ensure all applicable information is conveyed
Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the stadium
Performs and successfully completes tasks assigned by management in addition to daily tasks
Menu design, layouts, and menu development
Maintaining Catering Event System
Assisting with Catering operations as needed
Ensures all Orders are received and is responsible for sending final BEOS to our finance department
Work closely with our Culinary department, curating menus and pricing for events
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule
Must be able to work at a fast pace
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Constant standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions
Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 lbs.
Must be proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Organization and effective communication skills required
Must be able to work long periods of time with constant standing, walking, and lifting
Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations
Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service
Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision
Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
