Job Responsibility:
Prepare and cook items according to specification/recipe
Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO & CO standard
Lead by example, preparing and cooking dishes
Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines
Maintain work areas clean and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a kitchen preferably with large production volume
Knowledge of ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and cooking times
Energetic, hard-working, organized, and able to work fulltime in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts according to business needs
Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and follow supervisory instructions
Certificate in culinary arts, or relevant field a plus
