Job Description:

Sky Academy in Taunton is a small, specialist school that supports boys aged 5-16, helping them build confidence, resilience, and life skills in a nurturing environment. We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team and play an important part in keeping our pupils well-fed and ready to learn.

Job Responsibility:

  • Helping with food preparation in the school kitchen
  • Serving meals to pupils in a friendly and supportive way
  • Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
  • Delivering food to a nearby primary school (around 30 minutes each day – mileage can be claimed back)

Requirements:

  • A full driving license (essential for the delivery duties)
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety
