Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to support the day-to-day food and service delivery across the school. This role is essential in ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive high-quality, nutritious meals served with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collate & deliver on all hospitality functions
  • Liaise with school teams to meet hospitality demands
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of lunch and snacks
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front and back of house areas including organising dishes and utensils
  • Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs
  • Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards

Requirements:

  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
  • Fun and enthusiastic
  • Have excellent organization skills
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail
  • Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team
  • Possess great customer service skills
  • Have a flexible approach to work
