Job Description:

Mariposa Care has an opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team in our friendly care home, Holly Lodge.

Job Responsibility:

Support the Chef with food preparation and storage
Ensure different dietary requirements are met where necessary
Help with maintaining accurate records
Help with maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Requirements:

Ideally, you will have food hygiene certificate and a Level 2 catering qualification or equivalent (or a commitment to undertake further training and development, relevant to the role)
Experience of preparing and serving creative, high quality and nutritious meals in a commercial environment
Good English and numeracy skills
A passion for caring and helping our residents to thrive

Nice to have:

Ideally, you will have worked in a care home kitchen before
