Job Description:

Supermac's currently requires Full and Part-time Catering Assistants in Dunmore Road, Co. Waterford! The Catering Assistant provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure Supermac’s customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness each time they visit a Supermac’s restaurant. The purpose of the role is to serve our customers with the quality food they order as quickly as possible, in a friendly manner, ensuring the accuracy of the order every time. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced “non-stop” environment. Physically demanding at times due to certain business requirements with regard to the level of business, quality of staff, and quantity of staff. Teamwork is essential to ensure the procedure runs smoothly in all areas, and communication flows.

Job Responsibility:

Provide ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness
Interact with customers, staff, and management in a friendly and efficient manner
Carry out duties in compliance with the training received and the standards set in the Employee Handbook
Serve customers with quality food as quickly as possible, in a friendly manner, ensuring order accuracy
Work in an area to comply with company standards, adhering to safety/quality aspects
Work as part of a team, treating all staff and management with respect
Follow company guidelines/training in food preparation, production, and storage
Portray a professional image, both on and off the premises
Treat customers to warm and friendly service
Work with the management team to increase the number of customers and the amount of money spent
Ensure correct cash handling procedures are followed as directed by management
Ensure uniform and personal appearance in compliance with company guidelines
Be flexible to work in all areas of the restaurant as requested by the Manager
Constantly put the customer first

Requirements:

Must be available to work mid-week
Only candidates currently living in Ireland and allowed to work here will be considered
