Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Compass Group Ireland on a full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, seasonal contract. Based at a vibrant, high-footfall leisure and education venue, this role involves daytime hours with weekend work and no evening or night shifts, plus free on-site parking. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be part of a friendly, fast-paced team, delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility

Basic food preparation, counter set up and serving of food and beverages
Ensuring the highest level of customer care is delivered to clients and customers
Demonstrating a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
Following food hygiene and Health & Safety guidelines in line with training which will be provided
Ensuring correct storage of food items and equipment after service
Assisting colleagues in a willing and positive manner including assisting with other duties as required

Requirements

‘Can do’ positive attitude
Good people & teamwork skills
Willingness to learn
A good level of English.

Nice to have

Previous experience in catering or customer service
