Job Description:

Support the catering team to deliver a high quality of service to students and staff. Work predominantly 10am-2.00pm at the Campus Café (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday).

Job Responsibility:

  • Work as catering assistant preparing and serving a range of hot and cold food to staff and students
  • Assist with the preparation of orders, receipt of orders and safe storage after delivery
  • Assist with Buffets for internal hospitalities
  • Comply with health and safety and hygiene procedures and regulations relevant to their working areas
  • Day to day maintenance tasks such as Table clearance, emptying litter bins, sweeping floors, dishwashing, general cleaning

Requirements:

  • Food safety L2
  • Allergen awareness L1
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Cash handling & EPOS till experience

Nice to have:

Previous experience of working in a catering / Café environment within the education sector
