Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for Full-Time staff to join the team of Supermac's in The Barack Obama Plaza. The Catering Assistant provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure Supermac’s, Papa John's, SuperSubs, Mac’s Deli, and Bewley’s Barista & Spar customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness each time they visit the store. The Catering Assistant must interact with customers, staff, and management in a friendly and efficient manner to achieve this result. It is the responsibility of the team member to carry out his/her duties in compliance with the training received, and the standards set in the Employee Handbook. The purpose of the role is to serve all customer, regardless of what area they visit, in a friendly and welcoming fashion, going the extra mile to meet their needs in a clean and presentable environment. All roles require flexibility in cooking, serving, cleaning, and ensuring a great visit for every customer every time.

Job Responsibility

  • Treating customers to warm and friendly service each time they visit
  • Working in all areas to comply with company standards and safety/quality aspects
  • Working as part of a team as required, treating all staff and management with respect
  • Following company guidelines in all aspects of food preparation, production and storage
  • Portraying a professional image at all times
  • Working with the management team to increase customer numbers and revenue
  • Handling cash and ensuring correct procedures are followed
  • Ensuring uniform and personal appearance complies with company guidelines
  • Being flexible to work in all areas as requested by the Manager
  • Constantly putting the customer first
  • Handling complaints and incidents effectively, passing them to the Supervisor/Manager
  • Keeping lobby area and customer toilets clean and tidy at all times.
