Job Description:

Impact Food Group is looking for a Catering Assistant (Driving Essential) to work at Ricards Lodge High School. The role involves supporting a delivered food service from a main kitchen to a smaller site, including driving an IFG vehicle. The position offers daytime hours, weekends and evenings free, and all school holidays off.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting with a delivered in service from a main hub school kitchen to a smaller site
  • Packing up food in an IFG van
  • Driving the van to a local school
  • Unloading the food and serving and returning to the original school
  • Working as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service
  • Assist in the preparation of food and snacks
  • Counter service and till work
  • Keeping the kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy

Requirements:

  • Clean full UK driving licence
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ideally from a catering or retail background (not essential)
