Job Responsibility:

Supports National and Business Area strategic direction
responsible for local assortment and planogram execution
owns frontline pricing decisions
responsible for vendor operations and local relationships
responsible for planogram implementation and resets
responsible for actionable operational reporting
selects local vendors and negotiates costs
increases sales revenues by developing promotional concepts
fosters positive relationships between teams
supports pilots and testing activities
establishes and monitors gross margins
projects and measures category sales and profit results
maintains external vendor relations
recommends changes in products, service, and policy
achieves financial objectives by preparing annual category review and budget
maintains professional and technical knowledge
contributes to team effort by meeting targets

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, finance, management, business economics, or related field preferred
five years of experience or more preferred in merchandising, including experience in management responsibility
proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred
strong relationship management, analytical thinking, and financial acumen skills
may require up to 30% of travel
valid driver’s license required
