We are looking for a Category Manager who is passionate about turning market, consumer, and shopper insights into clear growth opportunities. This role is key in driving category performance and supporting commercial excellence at Ontex. Your mission: To enable data-driven decision making by analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics, supporting marketing, product development, and commercial teams to grow categories and strengthen customer partnerships. The challenge: Managing multiple categories, channels, and projects in a dynamic market; Influencing cross-functional teams and customers through insights; Turning complex data into clear, convincing stories; Adapting quickly and delivering results within tight timelines.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze market, category, and competitor data to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Translate consumer and shopper insights into actionable category strategies
  • Support commercial teams in customer and country business plans
  • Prepare and deliver compelling category stories for customer meetings
  • Monitor market dynamics, pricing, and performance to support innovation and new product launches
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams
  • Work with market research agencies and share best practices across regions
  • Develop clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or similar)
  • 3–5 years of experience in FMCG, category management, or consumer insights
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to connect data to business strategy
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Commercial mindset with strong business acumen
  • Experience with market research tools (Nielsen, GfK, consumer panels) is a plus
  • Fluent in English
