Category Manager Chemicals

• Establish and develop high performing and diverse supplier base
• Develop and implement Category three-year business plan
• Lead and develop Category Management Team
• Secure right pre-conditions for long term business development with suppliers
• Secure competitive offer with availability as top priority
• Recruitment, development, performance management, retention and succession planning
• Drive initiatives in line with IKEA overall Sustainability direction

• Solid purchasing knowledge and proven track record of meeting/exceeding results
• Deep knowledge of IKEA Strategic landscape, especially IKEA Purchasing Strategy and IKEA Business models
• Knowledge of supplier capabilities and material, service and production
• Experience in leading others
• Previous experience of leading leaders on remote distance is an advantage
• Desire to find new business opportunities and build trustful partnerships
• Highly motivated to lead people and competence development
• Ability to lead and navigate in complex environments
• Capable of switching between operational, tactical, and strategic topics
• Result oriented with focus on long-lasting results
• Strong communication skills on all levels
