Job Description

As a Category Management Support Intern, you will assist our Category Manager Team with various tasks related to managing and promoting our storage solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the tech industry, develop your analytical skills, and work with a team of experts.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Category Manager in managing the product portfolio, including adding new products and discontinuing under performing ones
  • Help plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns for storage products
  • Track and analyze the performance of products within the storage category
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained
  • Support the Category Manager in managing relationships with distribution and resellers
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive products
  • Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies for storage products
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide support for the sales teams by preparing product information newsletters, sales presentations and training materials
  • Support the Category Manager with various administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Information Technology
  • Strong academic performance and a willingness to learn
  • Basic understanding of storage solutions and technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS, cloud storage)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI)
  • Understanding of product management principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions
