Job Description

Xometry's Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in the manufacturing industry. You'll be at the forefront of driving category strategy through providing analysis and cross functional work relating to our partner network. You can expect to work in an environment that encourages entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on experience across functional areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Support category strategy: Assist category managers with supplier research, pricing analysis, and performance tracking to help optimize Xometry’s manufacturing categories
  • Data analysis & reporting: Analyze spend, capacity, and performance data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost, quality, or lead-time improvements
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with supply chain, engineering, and operations teams to support sourcing initiatives, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 - August 14, 2026)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results
  • Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
  • Ability to commute to our Lexington, KY or North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week
