Job Description:

The Category Management Consultant will be responsible for implementing product solutions and integrations within the retail domain. Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience, with expertise in SQL programming and technical architecture. Strong analytical and debugging skills are essential for success in this role. The position offers a hybrid work model and requires immediate availability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implementation of product and related integration being part of the Service Delivery Organization.
  • Designs and develops user workflows/ user interface, integration scripts, ETL mapping, data modeling and data loading.
  • Work as BY Technical Architect for CatMan new Implementations and migrations into BY Azure cloud.
  • Conducts technical analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the technical needs of the client and develops technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide variety of technical support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing & programming.
  • Co-ordinates project tasks on engagements.
  • Provides internal training, implementation support activities, or work on internal development projects.
  • Perform Oracle to SQL migration and manage the challenges from migrating to SQL procedures + data migration issues.
  • Ability to estimate the workload of implementation activities that are within the scope of their skills
  • able to ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration & architecture complexity.
  • Contributes to the growth of the technical consulting practice by developing and maintaining practice aids, databases, best-practice collateral.
  • Provides guidance to Support Services in responding to base technical issues.
  • Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience- Retail Domain preferred
  • Expertise in SQL programming, database, C# Scripting, Dot Net scripting /Platform, Windows Batch scripting, Shell scripting etc.
  • Good analytical and Debugging skills
  • Experience on system integration
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
  • Understanding of Database structures.
  • Understanding of various technical platforms and infrastructures.
  • Understanding and experience with the technical requirements for the product line assigned.
  • Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is added advantage.
  • Travel readiness based on business needs
