Are you passionate about turning data into commercial action? A leading drinks business is looking for an Insight, Strategy & Category Manager to become the centre of gravity for data, insight and strategic decision-making across the organisation. This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with senior leadership to shape category strategy, influence commercial decisions, identify growth opportunities and drive performance across customers and channels.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading the insight agenda across the business, turning data into clear recommendations and actions
  • Analysing EPOS, shopper, market and category data to uncover opportunities and trends
  • Developing category strategies that drive growth across portfolio and channels
  • Supporting customer engagement through compelling, insight-led selling stories and presentations
  • Influencing range reviews, distribution opportunities and category decisions
  • Identifying white space opportunities across customers, channels and the wider market
  • Supporting annual planning, forecasting and innovation through data-led recommendations
  • Building and maintaining reporting frameworks that drive better commercial decision-making
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams

Requirements

  • Experience in Category Management, Insights, Commercial Strategy or a similar FMCG role
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using data platforms such as Nielsen, Circana or Kantar
  • Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable commercial recommendations
  • Experience supporting major retail customers and customer-facing category initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution
