We’re looking for a Category Analyst to support the growth of noissue’s product categories through insights, reporting and commercial analysis. This hands-on role translates data into actionable recommendations that help shape product strategy, drive category performance and support global product development. Based in Auckland, you’ll work closely with Category Managers, Product Development, Supplier Sourcing, Operations, Sales and Marketing, helping teams understand product performance and identify opportunities across the portfolio.
Job Responsibility:
Analyse product and category performance including sales, margin, pricing and product mix
Identify trends, risks and opportunities to support Category Managers in decision-making
Develop dashboards, reporting and insight summaries for internal stakeholders
Support new product initiatives, business cases and track post-launch performance
Maintain product, pricing and supplier datasets and support ad-hoc analysis requests
Proactively identify and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and workflows to help the business operate more efficiently
Requirements:
2-3 years’ experience in analytics, commercial operations or product support roles
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel/Sheets and building dashboards
Curious, commercially minded and motivated
High attention to detail with structured thinking and problem-solving skills
Clear communicator able to translate data into actionable insights
Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
Based in Auckland and able to work on-site 5 days a week
