Job Description:

Category Analyst position supporting the Merchandising - Apparel, Flower, and Publication Team at CVS Health. The role focuses on delivering the best products and promotions to customers by leveraging analytical skills to evaluate sales trends, identify opportunities and optimize merchandising strategies across 7,000+ stores.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Front Store Merchandising organization
  • Play critical role in shaping customer experience across 7,000+ stores
  • Deliver best products and promotions to customers by leveraging strong analytical skills to evaluate sales trends, identify opportunities and optimize merchandising strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions and enhance product offerings and promotional effectiveness
  • Solve complex problems, develop actionable insights, and create mitigation strategies to address business challenges

Requirements:

  • 1+ years' experience using pricing/promotional strategies, including customer research, problem definition, prototype development and iteration, etc., in a retail and/or corporate environment
  • Prior experience analyzing and synthesizing data
  • Prior experience analyzing market trends, successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Travel- up to 10% travel may be required, based on needs of the business
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience

Certified Market Research Analyst (CMRA) preferred
