Our Client, a high end plaintiff PI firm is seeking an experienced Catastrophic PI Paralegal to join a litigation team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This position supports attorneys handling severe injury matters and plays a central role in moving cases forward from initial intake through trial preparation. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation support experience, sound judgment, and the ability to manage detailed case activity in complex personal injury matters.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a caseload of catastrophic injury matters, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, and severe bodily injury claims
Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and routine correspondence
Coordinate and review extensive medical records
prepare medical chronologies and summaries
Communicate with clients, experts, and healthcare providers
Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including exhibit organization and trial binders
Track case deadlines, court filings, and litigation calendars
Work closely with attorneys on case strategy and damages development
Requirements:
5+ years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience, with exposure to high-value/catastrophic cases
Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania litigation procedures and court rules
Experience reviewing and summarizing complex medical records
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
